With Business Phone, you pay based on the number of handsets you need, and all our in-market plans include standard calls to local, national and mobile numbers in Australia.

Business Phone includes Commander with Webex, which is an easy-to-use softphone app that is compatible with Mac, PC, iPhone and Android. If you need a handset, you can purchase one from us on a monthly repayment option or pay for it outright.

Yes, and the only difference between our Business Phone business plans is whether you want a contract or month-to-month plan and the length of your contract. The longer the contract length, the cheaper your plan will be.

Our business nbn® or ADSL2+ Internet plans support Business Phone. Generally, you can carry up to 8 concurrent phone calls for each MB/s that your service supports in each direction (download/upload). So, our Standard Plus nbn® plan with 20Mbps upload speed can support up to 160 concurrent calls if there’s no other internet traffic on the line simultaneously. Please note: Concurrent calls depend on several factors, not just line speeds. Ask our business team for more information.

Yes, provided you have an active internet service at each location.

One of the great things about the Business Phone for business is the ability to transfer calls or set up hunt groups across multiple sites without expensive phone systems, VPNs (Virtual Private Networks) or other equipment.

No, you don’t. You can use our softphone App (Commander with Webex app) to make voice or video calls or to collaborate with your team. 

If you want to add a handset, we have a range of handsets that are available on a monthly repayment option, or you can purchase outright.

Fax machines will need a separate business line, such as our business line. 

If your business only receives faxes, you can set up Fax2Email as part of your Business Phone plan. This service converts incoming faxes to PDF files and sends them to your nominated email address. Fax2Email is a Smart Extra and costs $8 per month. You can keep your existing fax number, or we can provide you with a new one.

No, there is no setup fee.

Yes, you can use your existing Internet connection, or you can start a new Internet plan with us. We prioritise Commander voice services on our network to ensure the quality of your voice service. 

Yes, we can port your existing numbers to Business Phone.

No, Business Phone is a Voice over IP (VoIP) service and uses your Internet connection to carry voice. ISDN services are not required. You can port your ISDN numbers to Business Phone.
